Welcome to Big Jungle Adventure: A Faith Journey with Jesus!

On this adventure, kids learn about Jesus and how He cares for His people of all times and places. As kids hear the stories from Scripture, they learn to relate these Bible truths to their own Faith Journeys.

Each Big Jungle Adventure day starts at Sound-Off Opening. Kids meet their Tribe Leader and the other kids in their Tribes here. They sing, pray, and learn the day’s Take-Home Point. Optional skits introduce the day’s themes and Bible story through the adventures of Morgan, the adventure guide, and three young adventurers.

After opening, kids journey off to five rotation sites for storytelling, Bible challenge, snacks, games, and crafts. Finally, everyone comes back together at Send-Off Closing for music, prayer, and wrap-up with the closing skit.

Before they go, kids get something to take home to help them share the day’s theme and Bible verse with their friends and family.

UPDATE: We’re almost ready for Vacation Bible School 2011 at Good Shepherd! A team of youth and adults from Redeemer Lutheran Church, Logan & First Lutheran Church, Monkton Ont with their pastor Rev. Marvin Bublitz will be guest teachers and helpers this year, but we still need: cooks to prepare special theme-related daily snacks, one or two people each day to do registration, helpers for teaching, crafts, music, snacks, and/or games. Interested in lending a hand?
