A new Lutheran mission for the Saint John NB area?

Are you a Lutheran and living in the Saint John NB area? Or are you interested in finding out more about the historic Lutheran confession of the Christian Faith? Do you know someone with a Lutheran background living in the Saint John area, or are you thinking of traveling to Saint John for studies, vacation, or moving there any time soon?

As of September 2007, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is exploring the interest and potential for a Lutheran mission in the Saint John area with the Gospel of Jesus Christ - "the Word", as Christ has said, "that gives Spirit and Life" (John 6:63). We look forward to arranging periodic Divine Services and Bible Studies, and we look forward to holding various events by which we can glorify the Lord for His Mercy and by which we may be of some earthly or spiritual service to our neighbours in the Saint John area (movies, topical presentations, hymn festivals are a few of the ideas we are looking at).
