Are you a Lutheran and living in Nova Scotia? Or are you interested in finding out more about the historic Lutheran confession of the Christian Faith? Do you know someone with a Lutheran background living in Nova Scotia, or are you thinking of traveling to NS for studies, vacation, or moving there any time soon?

We would love to hear from you!

Since May 2008, Good Shepherd has been providing pastoral care to and working together with our sister congregation at Faith Lutheran Church, in Dartmouth NS. They meet weekly for the Divine Service, Bible Study, and Sunday School for children. They gather not around each other, but around the Gospel of Jesus Christ - "the Word", as Christ has said, "that gives Spirit and Life" (John 6:63). We have also begun arranging periodic Divine Services and Bible Studies in other areas of Nova Scotia, and we look forward to holding various events by which we can glorify the Lord for His Mercy and by which we may be of some earthly or spiritual service to our neighbours on the Island (movies, presentations, hymn festivals are a few of the ideas we are looking at).

Faith Lutheran Church (Dartmouth) would like to warmly invite Lutherans (and non-Lutherans!) to a festive preaching and hymn service celebrating the historic Lutheran faith on Friday, Oct 30th at 7pm at the Manning Memorial Chapel of Acadia University, Wolfville.

LUTHERAN REFORMATION DAY SERVICE

A Festive Preaching and Hymn Service,
