GSLC Home -- Letter to parents -- Printable invitation -- Lent, Holy Week, and Easter -- Contact us

Smell, taste, touch, hear, see, and experience Holy Week in new ways. Grab your passport* and travel through sites Jesus visited from Palm Sunday through Easter.

An old spiritual song asks this question: “Were you there when they crucified my Lord?” In all honesty, we have to say no, but

on Saturday, March 27th 2010
from 1pm to 2:30pm
at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church ?

we will be hosting Journey to the Cross, an Easter learning experience for children and adults, single people and whole families.

As travelers, you will have the opportunity to walk in Jesus’ footsteps during Holy Week. Smell the aroma of anointing perfume, taste Passover food, feel a crown of thorns, and so much more. You will hear about Jesus from Bible witnesses and be a part of the Passion experience.

This family program invites children and adults to walk the path that Jesus walked. Small groups of people walk to 13 sites for activities that relate to the Passion event. At each station, their senses are engaged through experience-focused activity that teaches the biblical Passion account. Each station offers participants the opportunity to interact with a biblical character who adds new dimension to this familiar story.

Call, visit, or email us for more information or to register! (It's free!)

* We will have passports waiting for registered participants!
